Accessibility
Accessibility statement.
This statement covers the novaguide.io website. Nexus Nova wants as many people as possible to be able to use it.
1Using this website
You should be able to:
- change colours, contrast and text size using your browser or device settings;
- zoom in to 400% with the text staying on the screen;
- use every page with a keyboard, with a visible outline showing where you are;
- pause any animation that moves for more than five seconds, or set your device to reduce motion, which shows each animation as a still picture;
- read every page with JavaScript turned off.
Pages are built with headings, landmarks and labelled controls, so that screen readers can describe them. Animations never flash, and the contact form describes each error beside its field and in a summary at the top.
2Known limitations
- The drawings of Nova Guide are illustrations. Their text is hidden from screen readers, and each drawing is described by its caption or by the text beside it.
- Some text inside the drawings is small, and text in the dimmed part of a scene has lower contrast. The same information is in the text of the page.
- The specification PDF is tagged for screen readers and has a document outline, but has not yet been checked with a screen reader. The same content is on the Specification page.
3How it was tested
Nexus Nova last tested the site on 13 October 2026:
- automated checks with axe-core against WCAG 2.2 AA on every page, at 1,440 and 375 pixels wide, with animations running, with reduced motion and with JavaScript turned off;
- reflow at 320 pixels wide, the width that 400% zoom gives;
- keyboard checks of the animation controls and the contact form;
- Lighthouse, on mobile settings.
4Compliance status
This website is built to meet WCAG 2.2 at level AA. Its compliance has been checked with automated tools and keyboard testing.
5Nova Guide itself
This statement covers the website. Nova Guide, the product, is built to WCAG 2.2 AA: it never moves keyboard focus, and it announces each step of a guide to screen readers. How it behaves inside a clinical system is on the Clinical safety page.
